The iconic restaurant embodying Hotel New Otani Tokyo's epicurean culture enters yet another phase with its renewed concept of charcoal- and wood-fire barbecued items and sommelier-select wines from around the world.
The breathtaking view from the 40th floor that transitions from day to dusk to night complete the elements for an impeccable dining experience.

The new menu offers carefully selected beef, the best procurement of the day, cooked by expert chefs over a combination of charcoal—which brings out the flavors of the ingredients, and wood fire—imparting a subtle smoky aroma. These succulent viands are best enjoyed with minimal seasonings of just salt and pepper. The pleasant and refreshing tang of salt-cured fresh peppercorns highlight the rich meatiness and fragrance to their fullest extent.
The sommelier will select the best pairing from a selection of over 700 bottles consisting of Japanese wines from acclaimed wineries, exquisite French and Italian wines, and distinct New World wines. An extensive lineup of mocktails not only caters to diverse lifestyles, but may also surprise you by opening new doors of gastronomy.
The windows afford a splendid view from 144 meters above ground that includes the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Skytree. The transforming vista, from the daytime when the dining room is bathed in sunlight, to the evenings when the city twinkles like a jewel box, present a sublime ambience that will be the perfect backdrop for your meal.
Shintaro Saito has honed his culinary skills at various restaurants in Hotel New Otani Tokyo, including the prestigious Tour d’Argent Tokyo. He has participated in many special events with renowned chefs from around the world, and his proficient work has gained their confidence. As the new head chef of BELLA VISTA, his creativity and prowess will bring delight to your table.
