How can I get to your hotel from Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport)?
Hotel New Otani Osaka is about 30-40 minutes by taxi (around JPY 7,000) from Itami Airport. (Times and prices vary according to traffic conditions.)

The hotel can also be accessed via the following public transport route (takes around 50 minutes total):
Take the Osaka Monorail (bound for Kadoma-shi) from Osaka-Airport station, and get off at Hotarugaike station.
From Hotarugaike station, take the Hankyu Takarazuka Line (bound for Osaka-umeda, platform #2) and get off at Osaka-umeda.

From Osaka-umeda station, walk to JR Osaka station (about 3 minutes), take the Osaka Loop Line (outer loop, platform #2), and get off at Osakajokoen station. (The rearmost car of the Osaka Loop Line train is the most convenient.)
The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Osakajokoen station.

How can I get to your hotel from Kansai International Airport?
Hotel New Otani Osaka can be accessed from Kansai International Airport via either of the following public transport routes:
  • Take the Kansai-Airport Rapid Service train (runs every 20 minutes) from Kansai-airport station, and get off at Osakajokoen station. (The rearmost car is the most convenient.) This route takes about 75 minutes, including the 3-minute walk from Osakajokoen station to the hotel.
  • Take the Kansai-Airport Express "Haruka" from Kansai-airport station, and get off at Tennoji station. From Tennoji station, take the Osaka Loop Line (inner loop, platforms #11 & #12) and get off at Osakajokoen station. (The foremost car is the most convenient.) This route takes about 60 minutes, including the 3-minute walk from Osakajokoen station to the hotel.

Yes, the main entrance on the 1st floor is open around the clock.
Do you have a convenience store within the hotel?
No, we regret that there are no convenience stores within the hotel.
Do you have a bank or post office within the hotel?
No, we regret that there are no banks or post offices within the hotel.
A branch office of the Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and a post office is located in the neighborhood.
Do you have a parking lot?
Yes, we have a parking lot with a total capacity of 500 vehicles.
The parking fee is JPY 600/30 minutes.
Vouchers will be issued to staying guests and those dining at our restaurants.
Where can I smoke within the hotel?
Designated smoking areas are located as follows:
  • To the right side of the entrance on the 2nd floor
  • In front of banquet room New York Swan, near the elevators on the 2nd floor
Are laundry services available?
Yes, we offer washing, dry cleaning, and pressing services through our in-house cleaner. Prices and other details can be found on the slip provided in your room.
Where can I use a PC or print documents?
Our Business Center (1st floor) is equipped with computers and printers, and is open 10:00am-6:00pm to staying guests. Charges are required for use of the Business Center.
Do you have any fitness facilities or a pool?

Yes, we have a members-only Fitness Club on the 4th floor, where staying guests are welcome for a visitor's fee (JPY 3,850, New Otani Club Members JPY 2,750, per visit respectively). Hours are 7:00am-10:00am & 12:00 noon-10:00pm on weekdays, 7:00am-8:00pm on weekends & holidays. (Last entry is one hour before closing time).
An outdoor pool opens during the summer.

What is the parking fee for staying guests, and how long can I use the parking lot?
The normal parking fee is JPY 600/30 minutes. Staying guests may park one vehicle for JPY 1,200 per night.
What should I do when I become ill during my stay?
A manager is on duty around the clock to deal with any emergencies; please do not hesitate to let us know if you are not feeling well. We can also provide information and/or assistance if you wish to see a doctor.

Gifts/vouchers

Do you have gift certificates/vouchers that can be used as gifts?
Yes. Various types of vouchers are available, valid for payment for accommodation and dining at New Otani group hotels. Please inquire at the Guest Relations Desk.
Where can I purchase Hotel New Otani's original products and gifts?

Original baked confectionary such as Leaf Pies and Baumkuchen are available at Patisserie SATSUKI (open 10:00am-8:00pm) on the 1st floor. The New Otani Shop also offers beverages and other original products.
