Terms and Conditions for New Otani Club Newsletter Mailing Service

1. Purpose
Hotel New Otani Group (hereinafter called Hotel) shall offer mailing service (hereinafter called Service) which includes sending out newsletters by postal mail and E-mail. Only the New Otani Club member who has completed registration for subscription (hereinafter called Subscriber) is entitled to receive Service. The purpose of Service is to offer Subscriber prompt and regular updates on latest events and services of Hotel.

2. Outline
Service shall be managed and operated by Hotel. Subscriber accepts and agrees to Terms and Conditions of New Otani Club Center Newsletter Mailing Service herein. Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time.

3. Expenses
Subscriber receives E-mail newsletters free of charge. Equipments for applying and receiving E-mail newsletters shall be purchased by Subscriber under his/her own expense and responsibility. All communication costs shall be borne by Subscriber.

4. Application
Application for subscription shall be accepted at the New Otani Club Center and/or via Hotel website.

5. To change registration status or to cancel subscription
(1) For postal mailing, Subscriber is asked to visit the New Otani Club Center.
(2) For E-mail newsletters, Subscriber is asked to take online procedures via Hotel website.

6. Suspension / Termination of Service
Hotel shall in no way accept responsibility or liability on suspension or termination of Service. Service to Subscriber shall be suspended or terminated without notice when:

(1) Postal mails or E-mails continue to be unaccepted at the registered address
(2) Subscriber breaches Terms and Conditions
(3) Registered information is found to be false or inaccurate
(4) Subscriber is found to be inappropriate to receive Service

7. Exemptions
Subscriber agrees that Hotel may not be able to offer accurate information with regards to uncertain or emergency issues. Hotel shall hold no responsibility on any damage, loss or other results caused by:

(1) Delayed or undelivered mails and E-mails due to network problems
(2) False registration by Subscriber leading to any damage or loss to any third party
(3) System malfunction and/or errors

8. Protection of personal information
Personal information of Subscribers are stored and protected in accordance with Hotel’s Privacy Policy through necessary and reasonable security measures. Personal information is used and handled only within the extent necessary to offer Service.

9. Copyrights
Content of Service is protected by the Copyright Law of Japan and related international laws. Apart from personal use as permitted under the Copyright Law, no part of the content may be reproduced, re-used or redistributed without permission of Hotel.

 

Supplementary provision
Terms and Conditions for New Otani Club Newsletter Mailing Service shall be in force from May 1st, 2009.
