VIEW & DINING THE SKY first opened as a lounge in 1964, when the Olympic Games were held in Tokyo for the first time, to treat the thousands of people gathered from around the world to the majestic view of Mount Fuji.
Looking ahead to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, VIEW & DINING THE SKY has gone through a renewal and has reopened on June 9th, 2019, to provide guests with the same breathtaking panoramic vista of the Tokyo skyline and continued excellence in dining with Japanese, Chinese, and Western cuisine. From tempura, sushi, and teppanyaki prepared by our chefs right before your eyes to Hotel New Otani’s legendary roast beef and the renowned Super Series desserts, enjoy fine buffet dining of the highest quality.
