The SHELL POOL at Hotel New Otani Makuhari,
where the gentle sea breeze, palm trees,
and tropical flowers create an open tropical resort,
is just 30 minutes by train from central Tokyo.

At twilight, the pool takes on a glamorous and romantic mood,
with DJ music and a pleasant babble that takes you away from reality.

Clear blue skies and swaying palms await you. This year, our seasonal outdoor "Shell Pool" returns for the summer. Step into what feels like a secluded tropical resort. Relax by the sparkling water, feel the gentle breeze, and spend an extraordinary summer vacation in our soothing oasis.

Short Plan: Enjoy 2.5 hours of day pool access starting at the time of your choice.
[Extension Fees] An additional fee will be charged for every 30-minute extension as follows:

  • Weekdays: +JPY1,000
  • Weekends, Holidays, and Aug 10 (Mon) – Aug 14 (Fri): +JPY1,500
  • Flat rate for both adults and children.

HALE LANI

This summer, indoor deck chairs are available for dedicated use. Take a swim under the sun, and then chill out indoors, away from the heat.

Limited to 8 seats per day

Privileges

Free-flowing soft drinks*, use of deck chair, bathrobe, and swimming ring
*A free-flow alcohol package that includes Champagne, other alcoholic beverages, and a snack plate, is also
available.

*Please note that the sliding glass doors facing the pool will be opened/closed by staff, depending on the
weather at the time.
