Shishimai: Lion Dance ( Jan 1&2 )

Lion dance or "Shishimai" is a traditional dance mimicking a lion's movements.
The dance is often performed for celebrations and is said to summon luck and fortune.

Mochi-tsuki: Rice cake pounding ( Jan1&2 )

Rice cake, “Mochi”, is now commonly made and eaten for special celebrations such as New Year. “Mochi-tsuki” (Rice Cake Pounding) performance is one of the traditional performance for Japanese New Year celebration with Rhyme and calls.

Kakizome: First Calligraphy Writing ( Jan 1&2 )

Kakizome is the tradition of doing the first calligraphy writing of the year.
All equipment is ready, as well as advice from professional calligraphy instructors (in Japanese only).

Chapel Classic Concert ( Jan1 & 2 )

Enjoy classic concert takes place in chapels onsite for moment of relaxation.

New Year’s Eve Countdown Live( Dec 31 ) Additional Charge

New Year’s countdown live will be performed by one of the most popular Japanese artist, Yuki Koyanagi celebrating her 20th anniversary as a singer. (Talks in Japanese only) One Complimentary drink will be served.

Toshikoshi Soba: Year-crossing Noodles ( Dec 31 )  Additional Charge

Eating soba (buckwheat noodles) on New Year's Eve is a long-standing tradition observed all around Japan. Savor the aroma and smoothness of the noodles along with delicate bonito broth.

Osechi: New Year’s Feast ( Jan 1 ) Included in the New Year Packege

"Osechi" is the breakfast eaten during the New Year's period. Each item is intended to wish for the health and happiness of family members and friends for the coming year.
