    Mihama-en Japanese Garden

    This Japanese garden located Makuhari Seaside Park was created to bring together Japanese culture and global exchange in Makuhari New City. Different areas of the park, which features a lake and spring, represent landscapes such as the mountains, rivers, oceans, and forests. “Shoraitei” a sukiya-style teahouse built with Kitayama cedar Kyoto, is located within the park grounds.

    This is Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art, it comprised of 8 large exhibition halls and some other function halls. This museum collects works and information related to artists with connections to Chiba Prefectural, such as artwork of Japanese pioneer of modern Western-style art Chu Asai and Barbizon School landscapes by Jean-Francois Millet. Some special and planned exhibitions are also held periodically.

    Makuhari Beach Fireworks Festival
