Waterfalls

Also worth noting are the waterfalls, large and small. Both waterfalls are composed of layers of stones and pebbles weighing many tons. The large waterfall is 6 meters high and creates an impressive sight with the water cascading into the brooks, from there streaming beneath six bridges and eventually into the Benkei Moat.

The Seisen Pond

Visitors always love to watch red and black carps swimming in the Seisen Pond. More than 300 carps inhabit this pond; some of them have lived here for over 40 years, even before the opening of the Hotel. Herons and wild ducks are also popular dwellers. The scarlet-colored Taiko Bridge with the pond in the background is a perfect site for a picturesque photograph.
